mid-century modern planter from Modernica

Happy Monday to y’all – and what a happy Monday it is, today I’ve got a little something awesome for you…a giveaway with Modernica! These guys are based in Los Angeles and I pretty much love everything they come up with….but their planters, ooooooh their planters. I’d been eyeing them for a long long time, and now that we moved in our new home, I am on a mission to add a lot more green in the house – the perfect excuse to get this Modernica planter. Now that it is in our home it’s like life is complete, you know? 😉 I kid I kid, but really – everybody that comes through our door comments on how great it looks. Never thought you could be in love with a planter? well, there.

And so, like I said, it is YOUR lucky day because you can win the exact same planter that I have in my home – which is this one, the case study cylinder planter (%150 value). It’s the kind of planter that would look great in any home really – the combination of the wood and ceramics make it a timeless piece!

  55. Susan says:

This planter is so simple and beautiful!

My living room has been void of furniture and decor since we moved back home in December. A lot of our belongings were either broken or lost when our tour ended and we were shipped home. We’ve been waiting for the claims to be adjusted before we buy replacement items. This is the first time we’re starting with a blank canvas and it is so exciting- and scary. This MCM planter, if I won it, would be the first item to go in our empty space and it would be the item I use to build everything else around – my inspiration piece!

  56. Judi Young says:

I have a similar credenza from my stylish grandmother who purchased it new in the 50s. I do not have a sexy little planter to go with it, so winning it would rectify this travesty. Full disclosure: my credenza does not have circles places just so (yet). Oh! And I have this fancy mobile camera phone, so if I win I can take picture to show off my new gorgeous planter.

  57. Michelle says:

I have a snake plant that would look awesome in this!

  58. dain says:

We just bought our first home and it’s a darling 1959 Mid Century Modern home. We are slowly collecting pieces to fill our home with things we love and that feel great in our space. We have been loving this planter for a long time (we are big Modernica fans!) and haven’t been able to spend any extra money on fun things like this since we are on an extra tight budget. I know our little son would love to help us take care of a special plan inside! He loves to help in the yard. <3

  59. Holly says:

the perfect planter :) would go perfectly in my living room!

  60. Is the planter pictured in the size small, or is it the size large? I’m adding it to my pinterest wishlist!

  61. Dee W says:

I have to agree that this is a timeless piece. I could see myself having it for a long time, no matter how many interior design changes or homes I go through over the years. I would love to win it because it seems to be well-crafted and has a minimal charm!
