I’m a tree hugger

Happy Monday friends, did you have a good weekend? We had a great time in the city. It was cold cold cold (someone please kidnap me to a warm place!!!) but we managed to go on a couple of trips to the pool & the Children’s Museum of Art with the girls – so much fun!

Today I wanted to share these pretty images with you – because the tree hugger in me is simply in love with those gorgeous glass trees. Pretty little trees = Happy Audrey. Of course, they’d probably be very unpractical to have in a house full of toddlers like mine :) These beauties are the work of Norwegian designers StokkeAustad & Andreas Engesvik, and were just shown off during the Stockholm Design Week 2013. I am always so impressed to see how Scandinavian designers draw inspiration from nature to come up with the most beautiful, clean designs.

Those are cool. They remind me of something my grandma used to have only with a modern twist.

I know what you are saying, Fawn. They do remind me of something too, but I can’t quite put my finger on it!
