a Paris escape

I just realized that I promised to share some pictures from our little Paris escape in June, and I never did. So, without further ado…hubby and I spent 3 days in Paris visiting my best friend Soaz while my mother took care of the girls at their house in Normandy. In previous trips we felt like we always fell in the tourists traps, so we were on a mission to to find pieces of Paris that we could fall in love with.

And we did, mostly thanks to this blog where we found lots of great addresses to shop, eat, visit and go for walks in the less touristy parts of Paris like Rue Cremieux – the funky little street with colorful houses. I was proud because we found places that even my hard-core Parisian friend didn’t know about, and we had such a great time.

I can now officially say that I am in love with Paris :)

haha, except for I actually worked more while I was there (wedding shoots, baby photo sessions + blog) then I usually do in New York – but it was fun to be in France for a few weeks + escape to Paris!

  2. It all looks amazing… Especially the ice cream!
