Or sorbet, rather. But let’s face it, let’s all scream for sorbet just didn’t sound as cool. Here are some delicious recipes I found (from top to bottom, left to right): Lemon & thyme sorbet | Pomegranate, grapefruit and champagne sorbet | Black tea & blackberry sorbet | Kiwi & orange creamsicles
I’ve been sick with the flu despite the warm weather here in France (go figure!), and my sore throat has been craving the cold sweetness of sorbets. I used to own an ice cream/sorbet maker that I loved before it broke during one of our moves. I love making my own. You can make flavor combinations that you would never find in a store – pistachio and rosewater, cherry pomegranate or even salted caramel & lavender. There’s no limit! And on top of it it’s fresh and healthy. And really, it isn’t all that hard to do – just like baking a cake, the hardest past is to gather the ingredients and get your little butt off the couch. So here’s a little post that I hope will inspire you to make your own ice cream. Or at least eat some
Have a lovely weekend everybody!
Sorbets are so wonderfully sweet and a good low-cal option instead of ice-cream!
Definitely, Alexa! they are so perfect for hot summer days
The sorbet in the lemon peel definitely caught my eye! Can’t wait to try it out.
