One last little guest post while I am away on vacation, this time by my friend Gloria from Little White Whale. I don’t know how she does it, but Gloria always find the best things. Enjoy!
The idea of turning on a hot stove is beyond unappetizing when the weather heats up, especially in a not-so-airy New York apartment. Luckily we live close enough to a big park to make picnicking a regular part of our summer repertoire! There’s really nothing better than packing up a few delicious treats and heading out into the sunshine for our meal, instead of flopping down on the couch (yes, we usually watch TV as we eat…don’t judge!). Our menu is simple and light – we often munch on a crusty baguette, some cheeses, pasta salad, and frozen grapes for a sweet and refreshing treat. With the wind in our hair and the grass tickling our toes, it’s a wonderful reminder to slow down and focus on life for a change.
Thanks for having me, This Little Street fans! Here’s hoping Audrey will agree to stuff me in her suitcase the next time she jets off to a fabulous vacation!
