Head in the clouds

Today with hubby we had a long conversation about our (many) crazy dreams. They often repeat themselves in our conversations because, the truth is, we love a little craziness. We could, like many people do, say “ha, what’s the point, these dreams will never happen”, brush them off to the side and forget about them…but the reality is, these crazy dreams, they make us come alive. Will they all come true? Probably not…but who cares, really. What’s important is that they make us move forward. So go ahead, put your head in the clouds too. Heck, put your entire body up there while you are at it. Let your mind float away. Forget about reality and dream the craziest dream. Because, really, isn’t it when we are being unrealistic that we can really think differently, and come up with ideas that can change a day, a life…maybe even the world? Our friend Steve said it too well, “Stay hungry. Stay foolish”.

SO, I’ll be having a cup of tea in the clouds this afternoon, around 4pm let’s say. Anybody wanna join?

Oh, and if you want to LIVE in the clouds altogether, here are some ideas…

I don’t know why, but I just love these big pink clouds painted on the kitchen cabinets. Maybe because this shows that having you head in the clouds isn’t only reserved for kids.

  3. The husband and I each, long before we met, had apartments with “cloud ceilings” (realistic sky murals on the ceilings). This might have come at just the right time to motivate us to paint a cloud ceiling in our new home…

  4. Love all the clouds here! Thank you!
