Last summer in Denmark enjoying summer in the backyard with some of our dearest friends.

I mentioned it already, but I miss having a garden. Not that NYC doesn’t have the loveliest parks…but these days I wish I could open the backdoor and let the girls run around the backyard. We would get some friends over, barbecue some meat, and hang out on the deck chatting about all the important things in life. After lunch we’d grab a blanket, take some books, and lay in the shade of the apple tree for hours while the girls try to catch some bugs and butterflies. Someday, I know, we will own a house and be able to do just that – in the meantime we’ll enjoy the concrete jungle where dreams are made and there’s nothing {we} can’t do.
